Injectables & Structural Support
Structure. Balance. Natural Contour.
Facial aging is often less about a single line and more about changes in support, contour, and proportion over time. Dermal fillers may be used to restore balance, support facial contours, and address age-related volume loss with thoughtful precision.
At Lumaire, every recommendation is guided by facial anatomy, tissue quality, proportion, and long-term facial harmony—never volume for volume's sake.
Book An Aesthetic ConsultationPHILOSOPHY
Dermal fillers are most effective when they are used to support facial structure—not simply add volume.
At Lumaire, recommendations are guided by facial anatomy, proportion, tissue quality, and long-term outcomes. Our goal is to preserve harmony, restore support where it has changed over time, and create results that feel natural rather than noticeable.
Facial aging is often a result of changes in support, contour, and proportion. Treatment begins by understanding those changes before considering volume replacement.
Recommendations should consider the entire face rather than a single feature. Balance often creates the most natural-looking outcome.
Thoughtful treatment is rarely about doing more. Small, strategic changes often create the most refined results.
Recommendations should support how the face ages over time rather than focusing solely on today's concern.
Every recommendation is guided by anatomy, tissue quality, and outcomes rather than what happens to be popular.
Our goal is not to change how you look. It is to support the natural architecture of your face and create results that feel balanced, refined, and unmistakably you.
NOTICING
Facial aging is rarely about a single line or area. Over time, changes in bone support, fat distribution, collagen production, and skin quality can influence facial contour, balance, and definition. Many patients notice subtle changes before they can identify exactly what has shifted.
During consultation, we explore the concerns most important to you and determine whether dermal fillers may be appropriate.
Not every concern requires filler. The goal is to understand what may be contributing to the change and determine the most appropriate path forward.
TREATMENT AREAS
Dermal fillers may be used to support facial structure, restore age-related volume loss, and enhance balance in specific areas of the face. Recommendations are individualized and based on anatomy, tissue quality, and treatment goals.
Depending on anatomy and treatment goals, products from the Juvéderm and Restylane families may be recommended as part of a thoughtful treatment plan.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Every treatment begins with understanding. Whether you're exploring dermal fillers for the first time or have received treatment before, our approach is designed to provide thoughtful guidance, personalized recommendations, and natural-looking results.
Evaluate facial anatomy, facial volume loss, balance, proportions, skin quality, and your aesthetic goals.
Recommend the most appropriate treatment areas and the ideal hyaluronic acid filler (Juvéderm or Restylane) based on your anatomy, skin characteristics, and desired outcome.
If appropriate, treatment focuses on restoring facial volume, improving facial contour, and maintaining natural-looking facial expression—not simply adding volume.
Your facial structure changes over time. Recommendations evolve with you to maintain balanced, refined, natural-looking results.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Choosing whether dermal filler treatment is right for you often begins with understanding how fillers work, what results to expect, and how treatment fits into your long-term goals.
Below are answers to some of the questions patients ask most often when exploring dermal filler treatment.
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to restore facial volume, improve facial contour, and enhance facial balance. Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that helps maintain hydration and structural support. At Lumaire, treatment is customized using your facial anatomy and long-term aesthetic goals to create natural-looking results.
Dermal fillers may be used in areas such as the cheeks and midface, lips, jawline, chin, temples, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines to restore volume, improve contour, and enhance facial balance. Not every area is appropriate for every patient—your consultation will help determine which areas, if any, may benefit from treatment.
JUVÉDERM® and Restylane® are both hyaluronic acid filler families, but they differ slightly in formulation, texture, and how they perform in different areas of the face. During your consultation, we'll recommend the product best suited to your anatomy and goals.
Dermal fillers provide immediate volume and contour using hyaluronic acid, while Sculptra works gradually by stimulating your body's own collagen production over time. The right option—or combination—depends on your goals and how you'd like your results to develop.
Natural results are the goal of every recommendation at Lumaire. Treatment is approached conservatively, with a focus on restoring balance and proportion rather than adding noticeable volume—so the results feel like you, only refreshed.
Duration varies by product, treatment area, facial anatomy, and individual metabolism, but most hyaluronic acid fillers last approximately 6–18 months. Your clinician can give you a more personalized estimate based on your specific treatment plan.
Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as JUVÉDERM® and Restylane®, can often be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase if adjustment or reversal is needed. This is one of the advantages of hyaluronic acid–based products. Sculptra, by contrast, works by stimulating your own collagen and is not reversed in the same way—so the approach to correction differs depending on which treatment was used.
Most patients experience some swelling, redness, or mild bruising at the injection site, which typically resolves within several days. As with any injectable treatment, there are potential risks, including asymmetry, lumps or irregularities, infection, or, rarely, vascular complications. We'll review your health history and discuss what to expect in detail during your consultation so you feel fully informed before treatment.
Yes, in many cases. A thoughtful treatment plan may combine dermal fillers with other treatments to address structure, skin quality, and expression together. Whether combination treatment is appropriate depends on your anatomy, goals, and overall treatment plan.
The best way to know is through a personalized consultation. At Lumaire, we evaluate your facial anatomy, skin quality, and goals to recommend the treatment—or combination of treatments—most appropriate for you, rather than assuming filler is always the right starting point.
Aesthetic Consultation
Your consultation is a chance to discuss what you're noticing, what matters to you, and which aesthetic options—if any—may be appropriate. You do not need to choose a treatment before you arrive.
